I think the gypsies supporters trust got some one in from a uk club that was in a similar situation (dont know which club) and he advised them not to sell.
Heard the investors are friends of nutsy's, money owed is near 7 million and they will have no bother getting a liecence as the FAI are very happy with them as they have no football related depth (wages etc)

The licensing is clearly a load of bollox if you can have debt into millions and get one.

    Statement from Bohs

Bohemian FC members have given strong support to enabling the sale of Dalymount Park to attempt to clear the club's considerable debts.** Nearly 300 members attended last night's (Thursday 10th November) EGM and discussed the options facing the club for over two hours.* Members voted by overwhelming majorities on motions to authorise the club’s board to take steps to resolve the legal issues arising from contracts on the sale of Dalymount Park. This followed a detailed briefing on those issues by the club’s legal adviser. The board was also authorised to put the property up for sale on the open market if the issues surrounding the current contracts are set aside. Members were briefed on the €4 million debt to Zurich Bank and the huge challenges facing the club in preparing for next season. “We have a very strong mandate from the members to proceed in a certain direction for the longer term,” said club president Chris Brien. “But things will be tough in the short term too.* “We’re calling on members and supporters to get behind the club’s efforts in every*way possible

How does 3 years time effect next season?

When he says 3 years, I think he means "any time in the next 3 years". I'm led to believe that Shels had to say that Dalymount was their alternative ground to get a license last year (Source was a Bohs fans, for what its worth)

Got this from a hibs fan.

Pat Fenlon was interviewed and shown round Eastmains this week

Dont know much about him but if he did come would there be an irish investment to come with him?

Dublin GAA announced that they plan to build a new 25000 seater stadium in a Dublin outskirt... and I hear Dalymount rumoured... but surely not, too close to Croke Park

I'm back lads! Suppose I owe people an apology, seem to have ruffled a few feathers so sorry about that.
On the topic, MON was over in Scotland too last week so wouldn't read too much into certain managers being seen here and there. One things for sure though, if Fenlon does get the Hibs job, he'll take his whole backroom team with him. Liam O'Brien and co, and I'm sure that would be a condition in the deal if he went. He would insist on having them with him, whatever about the budget.

Wonder would Bohs have the cheek to ask for compensation.

He'd be a brave appointment given his lack of profile across the water. Reckon he'd do a great job though if he's afforded the time. I know of some Aberdeen players on £6k/week. If that's the going rate in the SPL, Nutsy will have his pick of LoI talent.

Not many from the league this year would get near hibs reserves

Nice of them to today give Hibs permission to talk to a man they've been speaking to and showing around Easter Road for past few weeks

It will be win/win for Bohs/Fenlon if he goes to Hibs. It's unlikely they can afford his wages next season anyway so he'd probably go anyway.

Nothing unusual about sides from Summer football nations and who are still involved in Europe playing each other at this time of year.

    Bohs not seeking compensation lol.

Story I heard was Nutsy bought himself out of his contract for 100 grand and Hibs built the money into his contract. Good luck to him and anyone who can get a gig over the water. A decent stable wage for a couple of years in this game not to be sniffed at.
I used to know it all, Now I'm going to school.
