lads any advice as how to get a bit of life back in to training . under 15 team and theyve won all 13 games but nothin special about them. to quote tonight "this is shite and were still top of the league" the stuff we have them doin it some great drills but they arent makin an effort
They're obviously in the wrong league dirtydub88. A wake up call on the pitch might help. Try and get a game against a team from a higher league who you feel might give them a hiding. Point out that's what awaits next season and then introduce some new (more difficult) drills and ideas.
like we are playin in the year above our selves as is and on sunday we played joeys and the hopped off us . which proves they arent good enough . we were think today of not doin any football trainin something completely random instead
U15 is a tough age- the egos kick in as well as drink and girls.
Important to keep the respect, don't stand for any messing in training.
As was said- 2/3 games against higher teams will help, not to "get hopped off", that does nothing for anyone, more to see what level they are and how good they could be. Would be a good learning experience.
tell the lads who find it shit and boring to find another sport and keep coaching the lads who want to learn
