Finished 0-1. Respectable enough but it'll be tough for them to go through now

Results gone our way again tonight, Dundalk and Rovers drew, But don't you know MNS who said they need to win the next 4 games will spin that draw in Rovers favour! "Shamrock Rovers closed the gap on the league leaders by a point etc etc"

Cork City are shocking. That second Dundalk goal should never have happened.

It was actually embarrassing. That's the kind of goal an U8's team would concede.

From RTE match report of scum v UCD

UCD did hang on though and the final whistle was greeted by boos from the home supporters and an angry reaction from some Shamrock Rovers players, notably Rice who was booked after the final whistle.

Shame to see Vilanova having to step down at Barca - from what I hear, his prospects of long term recovery aren't good.

Luis Enrique seems to be the favourite - risky appointment if that goes ahead. Did fine with Barca's B team but did little in his one season of top level management at Roma. He has just been appointed at Celta Vigo so could leave them without actually taking charge of a competitive game.

Not the Argentine National Team manager (if that's what you meant, not sure) but another Argentine. The papers seem to think he has jumped into pole position but Barca seem to like their managers to have had links with the club at some stage.

In recent years that's only Guardiola and Villanova. Before that it was Rijkaard and Van Gaal. I think Antic was in their short term too

Yeah but I think they've really bought into the academy to first team model following the success of appointing Pep, you have to remember these past 5-6 years have been the most successful in their history. If they think Enrique is up to it he'd probably be their preferred candidate.
