Heard from a Homeless supporter that there's gonna be a major announcement about Bohs tomorrow in the papers. Anybody heard anything on the grapevine?

We All Dream Of A Team Of Curly Wurly's!!! A Team Of Curly Wurly's!!! A Team Of Curly Wurly's!!!
heard is bad news alright
- Hard work pays off in the future. Laziness pays off now
Dont care what anyone says about "its bad for the league",
If they come out again in money problems, its retardedness and sticking there heads in the sand after signing 12 the other day. No sympathy at all.
Bye into the second round of Europe anyone?![]()
im not going to get my hopes up, i've been hearing stories about bohs being on the brink for about a decade now and they always jammy their way out of it. they signed 9 players yesterday, even by LOI standards that would surely be a bit much?
bray will be in europe at this stage
- Hard work pays off in the future. Laziness pays off now
But how bad is the bad news? Bad as in relegation or bad as in going out of business?

Just heard my Friday football 6-a-side team have qualified for the setanta so there might be something in it

They failed to pay players as agreed. Just a hold up I reckon, nothing too serious
Were the Gypos not already granted a Premier Licence which means they can play in Europe? Who the hell hands these out? Do they even look at football clubs finances, outstanding debts, unpaid wages or anything like that or is it just a paper exercise? Seems one rule for some clubs, another for others.
Imo when the league finishes, November, the clubs should be under that 65% rule, should have paid all players and shouldn't owe money to the world and his dog. If not the title if they've won it should be stripped from them. This thing of getting it in place for the following season is a joke, gives clubs too much breathing space to get all that back in order for the new season, just to do it all over again.

If it was down to debts, there wouldn't be a single club in the league. Us included.
This is the itneresting bit for meGovt departments don't tell people to expect a letter. Who told them to expecta letter or are they just hoping? The club have been told to expect a letter that will lift that charge by the Department of Tourism, Culture and Sport, but as of last night, it had not been received and the club remain in the dark about when it will arrive.
What's the difference between Bohs situation and Galway's, I don't see one
Any gobshite can see this, how have the FAI not acted on it. You could argue they dont give a flying fuck about the league, fair enough, but it also doesnt look to good on them.
Surely they want to avoid these ridiculous stupid scenarios every couple of months that show them up for the thicks they are, and they would try get it right ?

There must be some recourse for this? We submitted incorrect information (in error) 3 years ago under Kerr and got fined €15,000 by the FAI.
Bohs have misled the licensing system and lied to PFAI to get agreement- all this lark of sporting grants holding up the process must have been known long before they offered Dalymount as security in return for Bonds (its not like it’s the first time that Bohs have used the stadium as collateral)
As of the licencing date AND the appeal date Bohs have not fulfilled the criteria (as their agreements were null and void)- they appeased football creditors by knowingly misleading them to facilitate their application to the licencing authorities. As a result must be refused a licence….if this truly is a “independent” process.
There must be recourse if there is an ounce of integrity to the licencing system and its not just a play thing for the FAI.
Or is this another case of Bohs abusing the licensing protocol? (65% rule, Players signed as bar tenders and groundsmen etc etc)
Its pretty clear that Bohs can do as they like. They obviously know it at this stage and have no fear of the FAI. Its a joke

The agreements aren't null & void. The agreements between the players and Bohs are the only ones that matter. Tehy state that the players agree to the payment plans proposed by Bohs. HOw they get the money isn't in that agreement.
Bohs budget involves the loans. Everyone knew the loans were secured on the ground, and everyone knows that loads have a charge on the ground. No one is being lied to about that.
As I've said before. Bohs ticked the boxes. For licensing, thats all that matters.
But did they not promise the players their money by a certain date to get the license, and have now failed to do this?
so is it anything major or will bohs just be bailed out again if it is major?
