    Vinyl's

Father in law got a record player for christmas. Where can I pick up new vinyl's of stuff he's like. The usual 60 and 70's rock and stuff. Off my head, the only vinyl places I know sell dance and electo jabberwacky, so if anyone could steer me in the right direction, it'd be great.

    Cheers

I used to go in their years ago, and it was all modern stuff. Might have changed lately.

I think it's dance crap and a bit of modern. Oasis and the likes often bring out vinyl of their albums. I dint know anywhere to get beetles, Clapton, the byrds. Bands like that.

Try car boot sales. I think Chapters in Parnell St might have a vinyl section. There's also a place in Wiclow st. Can't remember what its called. It a small doorway that leads downstairs. They sell old books and have a fairly big vivyl section. and as was already said - ebay.

The place in Wicklow St is Freebird, which is in the Secret Book and Record Store, just a few doors away from Tower.

You will find plenty of the classic 70s stuff in various places if you are willing to buy second hand - loads of people sell off their vinyl collections because they've traded up to CD.

You won't generally find new copies.
