    Motherwell v Hearts

SPL isn't everyone's cup of tea but gambling opportunities are gambling opportunities.

Hearts go to Motherwell tonight. They're the form team in the SPL, having won their last 5 games (including a 2-0 win over Celtic) without conceding a goal. On Saturday they stuffed the admittedly wretched Aberdeen 5-0. Motherwell on the other hand haven't kicked a ball in over a month with the snow and currently have no manager after Craig Brown and his assistant Archie Knox fecked off to Aberdeen on them. Hearts are 13/8 to win tonight, sounds very generous odds to me.

That's a great price alright, have bet on Hearts a fair bit this season. Rudi Skacel also a great bet for 1st goal

Both teams 13/8. PaddyPower seem to be just looking at the table and not taking what Gaz said into account. Stuck a tenner on Hearts
Christy Fagan - He scores big goals

They would see it as evevn enough as Motherwell are at home and not too far behind Hearts in the table. Though I'd still have thought hearts would've been slight favourites

PaddyPower must be reading this forum. Hearts 6/4 now, Motherwell 7/4

It's 2-1 Hearts now with about 20 minutes to go. Just switched it on now, looks like Hearts have been murdering them judging by the number of shots on goal they've both had.

Motherwell down to 10 now - bloke got sent off for laying half a fingernail on the ref when disputing a penalty (rightly) not awarded to Well. Straight red - very harsh.

2-1 Hearts Full Time. Made hard work of it but a win's a win. And a winning bet's a winning bet.

God bless ya Gaz, not usually a betting man but given Hearts recent run of form it was hard to say no. Will replace the sour taste of having spent 30 quid on a Eddie Izzard ticket tonight

Motherwell v Hearts Bookmakers investigate irregular betting

The Scottish Football Association have confirmed that the Association of British Bookmakers are investigating irregular betting activity regarding the red card shown to Motherwell midfielder Steve Jennings in Tuesday night's Scottish Premier League defeat by Hearts at Fir Park.

Reports claim irregular betting patterns surrounded the dismissal of Jennings, who, after being booked by referee Stevie O'Reilly in the early stages of the game for a foul on Kevin Kyle, was shown a straight red with seven minutes remaining after O'Reilly turned down a penalty claim.

This is what Wayne Rooney's oulfella was arrested for apparently. Weird that the only SPL game in history I've ever bet on turned out to be rigged!

The thick plottens - Wayne Rooney sent off for Engerland tonight, wonder if the oulfella was on that too?

By the way the Motherwell player that was sent off was one of those arrested today. Career over there whether charges are brought or not.
