Inchcore's Catherine Byrne will get in for FG (unfortunately). Think the last seat will be a fight between FF, ULA and Lab (Conaghan for the 3rd labour seat)

Yea, unfortunately 3 Labour will be a long shot alright. 2 Lab (and it'll be a helluvan effort to get 2), a People Before Profit and a SF and Ms Byrne, I reckon. That'll still make it the first ever constituency to return 4 left wing TDs. We (ahem!), the good people of Clondalkin (then joined to Tallaght) were the first and as far as I recall the only, constituency to return 3 left wing TDs in 1992 - 2 Lab and 1 Democratic Left (Mr Rabbitte).
Trailblazers so we are in de Dalkin. Now that we're joined to the culchie snobs of Lucan, the constituency will be the proverbial camel's arse. Current Govt chief whip and former DJ in Round Towers GAA club, John Curran is there as is Saints supporter Derek Keating for FG (along with Frances Fitzgerald). With 4 seats going, there are strong left candidates all over the place. There's a big SF vote, People Before Profit will be in touch for the last seat and Lab have a sitting TD and are gunning for a second. That's not to mention Mr Unparliamentary Language Paul Gogarty himself but I don't consider the Greens left wing. So he can go you know what... It's still funny now: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CosVhlxpFao

There were six on the stage. The 5 leaders and the elephant in the room. Martin was in Government for 14 years and didn't make any attempt to do the shite he's now spouting. He's a good debater, but has no credibility. He was in fourth place ahead of Gerry Adams IMO.

Im voting on the basis of leadership

FG: Enda Kenny is a plank and i cannot stand him
    SF: Not even a consideration
Labour: Eamon Gilmore is not leader materail, Anytime i see him he looks and talks like he is only after getting out of bed, Maybe if someone else was leader i would vote for them
Greens: Work for the future, Country is not in the right state to be working on their plans
FF: Yes they have posioned the country, Not a chance they will be voted back in but i reckon Michael Martin will turn that party back around for the next GE

Shouldn't be forgotten that only 3 weeks ago 2/3rds of the Fianna Fail party thought Cowen was the man to lead them into this election. They had no faith in Martin then, and have little faith in him now.

This is interesting. Let's you know which party most closely corresponds to your views. The one it picked for me isn't who I intend voting for.

You are compatible with the Labour Party. You are also close to Fine Gael.
