Erasmus in Austria - Advice needed

I applied for an Erasmus for my semester 6 starting in February 2011.

I received an offer recently to go to Kufstein in Austria for the semester to study. Now I know it's an amazing opportunity and I am definitely considering going.

Just want to gain any information possible from anyone that can help regarding Austria or even different Erasmus's that anyone has experienced.

    Cheers.

Ye definitely go. Best year I ever had. Was unsure about going before, like you, but it's brilliant, you'll make so many friends and learn about so many new cultures. Get to a good bit of travelling as you're in the centre of Europe (I wasn't too far from Austria).
The best advice I can give you is to join in as many activities that the college/Erasmus programme offer like watersports/hall sports and pub crawls. I did a few at the start but should have done more looking back now. And if there's Irish over there try not to just stick in a group, try make friends from other countries aswell. And get good speakers for the commentary for Pats matches! Mine were shockin.

Haha. Not for me anyway. Only places I can apply to are UK, "Nordic" countires, Netherlands and Belgium in Europe and then USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore.

Gonna apply for all of them and see what I get!
