Don't know enough about this topic, is there pro's and con's to a deal like this for the League and the club itself?

Club won't get much, if anything. Maybe some automated stats
It's a one camera deal with no cameraman. They have it set up (with censors) so the camera tracks the ball. Games will be streamed on betting sites. Will help raise awareness somewhat and will be handy for LOI fans abroad

10,000 per club according to the papers. LOI fans are about to get very familiar with VPNs, I'd personally recommend Tunnelbear !
I think this is a good deal. I see RTE are condemning the deal already. http://www.rte.ie/sport/soccer/2015/...h-loi-streams/. They must be worried that this development might result in them paying money to league of Ireland clubs to televise the games. Perish the thought.
They have very short memories:

Personally, I don't believe gambling companies or money lenders should be allowed associate with our game.
Yeah, a few have that opinion alright but that ship has long since sailed.

We are at war with Eurasia. We've always been at war with Eurasia.
Decent idea.
