    Johnny Lyons RIP

Very sad to hear the passing of Johnny Lyons. He cut his journalistic teeth covering games in Richmond back in the early 90s. I used to give him a lift into town after games and we'd talk everyting from football to music and beyond. He was a gentleman and a supporter of the domenstic league.

    R.I.P.

IIRC, during the Marney-gate era, he announced during one of his bulletins that he had pulled all of the $h€l$ players registration forms, and that there were discrepancies on almost all of them, and why were we being targeted.

    He did.

His brother was involved with Mount Merrion and was on the Oso testimonial committee. Definitely had a football background and a strong interest in the league

A legend on the radio and always gave the LOI a major plug.

Am I right in saying he was a Bohs fan?
