    Passport Office

I'd say this has probably been asked here before, but.....
Does anyone on her work in, or know someone who works is, the passport office?

I applied for my renewal last week, and I see that my estimated date is the 30th of April, but I've just been told that provisionally I'll be heading to the US with work the week of the 4th of May, and I was just wondering if that date (30th) was accurate, and if there was anything I could do to spped thinkgs up?

    Thanks in advance.

Give them a ring and explain the situation (that you now need it for work on May 4th). You can ask for it to be marked for collection when it's ready and that saves a day or 2. If it's scheduled to be ready for April 30th, it probably will be.

I know someone that works in the office in Balbriggan, since they fixed the huge back log last year they usually have the passport done a day or two before the estimate date, give me a shout if it's close to the date and you've heard nothing

Got my new passport last year through the Irish embassy over here. Brought in the forms to them and they had the new passport over here in my hand in a week. Great service
