Goal.com has a LoI section in their Windows app, so I assume it's the same on all platforms

Fotmob as mentioned above is good for LOI, once you pick a league as a favorite its gives a league table, fixtures/results and top scorers for the season... News section is obsolete for the LOI but its good for top european divisions

Loads of apps do that to be fair, best one IMO is the GOAL.Com live score service, purely cause they do same as all the others, but at least have the crest right for us (sofascore is also good, but has our old crest)

I'm a fan of Futbol24 for matchnights. Usually very quick with the scores for LOI games.

Yeah, it's the dog's. The ability to tag matches to push updates to you is deadly, saves you checking the score and wasting battery. Some of the games they cover on there beggar belief - Iranian Second Divsion etc..

Spotify Premium costs a tenner a month but is well worth it for me.

I've found the Dublin Bus app is somehow more accurate than the displays at the bus stops themselves (had assumed they came from the same source but apparently not).

Use whatsapp more than my phone's text now.

Endorse everything gaz said. Add in VIber and Skype for internet based communications

If you have any TV/movie subscriptions there's likely an app for it; UPC, Sky, Netflix etc

Is there anyway of doing a Pats app? Have it basically linked to the website, so any stories that go up on the site go straight on the app as well and could have a livescore type thing on match night
And Brian Kerr is in tears.

I know they've looked at it but without spending money on it, the results would be great.

As it is, the website isn't fully mobile compatible. I think that should be the next step

Sharkscore and Goal can be even quicker than Futbol24, but can be unreliable with notifications, but that's being really anal because Futbol24 is still very quick with updates. Fotmob while not as quick is very good aesthetically and great for team line ups and substitutions, also has an in game table updates.

Dead handy app that. I've had a couple of issues of busses not appearing when they're 'due' and then vanishing from the app, but other than that, it's very good.

    I mostly use:

    Amazon Kindle
    TuneIn Radio
    Sofascore
    FIS-Ski
    RTE
    Journal.ie
    Sky News
    Twitter
    Whatsapp
    Prague Transport

    What I use frequently is:
    Spotify
    Whatsapp
    Livescore
    FM104
    Skype
    Instagram
    AroundMe
    DeutscheBahn Navigator

As was said in this thread, I use Whatsapp more than SMS. Very useful

    Few good games aswell:
    8 Ball Pool
Who wants to be a Millionaire
    4 Pics 1 Word

Another useful and peculiar App I downloaded a few days ago is Waterminder. Enter your weight and it says how much water you should be drinking a day. Gives you reminders and stuff. I never realised how little water I drank until I downloaded it, quite useful

Even an RSS feed would be good. Windows phones give that option for screensavers, mine is currently set for extratime.ie feeds, but would prefer direct from our site

Phlok App! You get points for shopping in different shops, pubs, etc. The points build up really fast though and you can redeem them for wherever you want! I've had about €200 of free gargle from it so far!
