Agree 100% top top series, and a very good actor. RIP.
Oddly enough I'm only watching it properly for the first time now - I'm on the second series. Brilliant stuff and he absolutely nailed the part.
We are at war with Eurasia. We've always been at war with Eurasia.
What a legend. Can't believe he died of a heart attack whilst on holiday in Italy. Sounds like something that would have actually happened to Tony? RIP
He, and the Sopranos, changed TV forever. Brilliant role, brilliant acting, brilliant TV

Oh and if anyone wants the boxsets, just let me know and you can have a lend of mine

Really enjoyed the Sapranos, watched a lot of it while I was working abroad (Cork) and I was only thinking the other day of when to start watching it from the start again
RIP
Gutted, was brilliant in The Sopranos and felt he had another great role in him.
Best TV series every made IMO. watched it about 4 times now and still love every episode. might be time to break it out again

You're right, Fair City is not like watching a TV show either, for very different reasons though
Oh, and on the eternal Sopranos v The Wire question, I'm firmly on the side of The Wire. Sopranos was still excellent though, and Gandolfini was a fine actor. Was great in In The Loop too. RIP.
