Won't be proper training though as I say the gym won't be enough!

Everyone keeps saying it will be with Barcelona, assuming Barcelona still want to pay the money he's worth? Iv no doubt they still want him but rumours they think he's will be for sale around 50 million is mad it won't happen.

Also another point people saying he's should be fucked out of Liverpool but think it's ok for him to play for Real Madrid or Barcelona ? 2 bigger clubs? If they are willing to have him then Liverpool should be in no rush to sell him even after all the stuff he's done to drag the club down!

They were just obvious examples, the fact that they involve England is irrelevant. I could go on about other examples but they were the obvious ones.

If these had been disallowed other memories would take their places and be just as wonderful, maybe even revolve around skill rather than controversy (maybe thats jsut your personality)!
They are memories that add to others involving skill, it doesn't necessarily have to be one or the other.

Its an idiotic argument to claim that these structure create added pressure for referees, its teh exact opposite. its shared responsibility, a referee can stop a game and get advice on a key peice of play (eg penalty incident, violent conduct) - in Rugby (sorry to offend you by using that horrific word) a ref can even ask a 4th official to investigate while the game continues........absolute magic!
If you don't see it as a valid argument your clearly just not willing to accept that someone has a different opinion than you. I would be confident that the majority of refs in football would agree with my point on this. I know quite a few refs at different levels in this country and have yet to come across one that disagrees with me.

I stand by my point, that in my opinion, soccer would be better if referees were respected (and assisted by video refs) and there was an ACTIVE citing system (commissioner) for people who dive, cheat or perform violent acts on a pitch.
Your entitled to your opinion as am I (although it seems to annoy you so much that you resort to insulting me). Our opinions differ and its probably best to just agree to disagree and leave it at that

presume his wages made it easier. fairly suprised 12k euro a week is the second highest wages at Leeds. I know they had money troubles, but still would have thought it would be higher

People have crazy notions about how much on average players earn in England - the few that earn mega money totally warp expectations. In the Championship 6-8K Sterling a week is about standard. If you remember when Riise's payslip was leaked onto the web, it showed he was on about 20k a week basic. And he was first choice for a big name Premiership team that had played in the CL Final that year.

Of all the reactions I've seen from players to being sent off over the years, this has to be the weirdest. He's not even having a go at anyone (excpet maybe himself).

Evan Osam, son of Paul, making his league debut for Rovers tonight. The youngest player to make his league debut since Richie Bayly in 1978, according to extratime.ie.

    He's 16, by the way.

Sums up their status in Europe. What's their budget compared to ours? I could never understand the huge Irish support for this foreign club.

Finished 1-6 - same as us, but they don't have the excuse of all four selected defenders getting injured.

They also lost both games, while there was just a goal in it until 20 minutes to go in our tie. Not that it proves a whole lot either way, but still. Puts a bit of perspective on it.

If Debrecen were only fined £15,000 for bringing on an ineligible player for 4 minutes at 4-1 up, I'd say Legia bringing on an ineligible player with 2 minutes to go at 6-1 up will be treated similarly.

Head says a fine for Legia, heart says they'll be fucked out, Celtic will get their Champions League play-off place and we'll get Celtic's Europa League play-off place.

Don't think we'll get anything. At worst the tie will be overturned and Celtic will qualify. He didn't play against us so Legia may still get the Europa spot.

Seems there is a difference between an ineligible player (fine) and suspended player (forfeit match)

He was only still suspended because of a clear misunderstanding though. Legia knew he'd be suspended for both our games so it's understandable that they didn't register him in the squad for the games against us. According to UEFA he had to be registered in the squad for those two games to count as part of his suspension. A fine would be the only fair punishment here, to throw them out for a 2 minute appearance when 5 goals up on aggregate would be ridiculous.
