Two people have been arrested after a brawl broke out between a large group last night in Dublin’s city centre.
Gardaí confirmed today that there was a dispute involving a number of youths in the Bridge Street area at about 11.30pm. Witnesses reported seeing up to 50 people -some throwing bottles – and a number of garda units attended the scene.
It is understood that the incident involved groups of football fans coming from yesterday’s match at Dalymount between Bohemians and Shamrock Rovers.
