They'll be well out of the title race by the time he gets back.
And Brian Kerr is in tears.

It would be good if they did, but even better if they waited until their game in the Aviva!!!

I hate the fact that so many people in Ireland follow English football teams. But there we go, that's the reality of it.
But I love the fact that Man City are close to winning the league in England again.
    For two reasons:
    1) Very few people in Ireland (relatively) follow them - so it pisses off the barstoolers.
and 2) They were a struggling club with no record of success until some mega-rich backers waltzed in and transformed them with a shitload of cash - so it pisses off the barstoolers.

    Nice.

    Nice.

They're the new Chelsea. Saw three different people in my estate walking around in City gear this year. In the 21 years before that I never saw a single piece of City merchandise in Clondalkin.

Dutch media giving their English counterparts some helpful hints on interviewing Van Gaal. The Catalan media could give them a few more I'm sure. He's genuinely hopeless with the media, if he gets off to a bad start with United there's a car crash waiting to happen.

I actually "supported" City as a kid (i.e picked them at random and decided that they were "my" team.) That was in the mid 70's. Realised in the early to mid eighties that they had nothing to do with me and lost interest. Then I re-discovered Pats 20 years ago, happy days

Couldn't care less who wins the title in England now (though I'll admit it does make me just a little bit happy when Man U lose.)

Dunphy on David Luiz tonight - "He'd be a liability in the league of Ireland". Well, he's no Kenny Browne

Luiz was poor tonight and how dare Dunphy suggest that he's good enough for the LOI.

Brazil got out of jail. No way were they worth a 3-1 win. Some had them as favourites, but I think they'll be doing well to make it through the quarters.

i reckon they'll get momentum, have massive support and despite being mediocre will still some how win it

Outpost Hanover calling: Hi Everybody at THE CHAMPIONS

    What an opener:
    http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2014/...83_636x419.jpg
Brazil on the edge of defeat and then the referee gets out two new sets of cards/rules for each team.
Neymar gets away with a clear act of violent conduct and just yellow. Fred who should have got a yellow card for his great interpretation of backward diving earnes a penalty instead...

I had wished for them to win the world cup in their troubled country but now the third place is all the mercy they'll get from me.

Roddy would love that job - Fenlon may fit in, but the outside dublin thing could scupper that (like it did Derry & Scotland) - I understand he runs a chain of dry cleaners so needs to be in Dublin.

Any old players there who would look at a jump to management?

becasue we are light ( no pun intended) on options and he has produced it with ease in the past.

2 years is a long time for a player like him to be off form. With his attitude keep him as far away from the club as possible
