This Elding lad for Sligo sounds like a beast. Rovers are like us from last season, have most of the ball but no real cutting edge yet and keeping loads of clean sheets.

With the 2 postponed games our season hasn't really started yet. Judging by the Drogs game we could be title contenders, judging by the Rovers game we are relegation candidates.
And Brian Kerr is in tears.

This! They will do well against the good sides
With Bucka to lead us sure no one could beat us!

Said this when everyone was mourning the loss of Crolly and the players. Homeless are welcome to all the draws. We handed them their only goals of the season. Apart from that they haven't scored, have barely created anything and have had their 3rd 0-0 draw in 4 games.
Are they clutching to the same bullshit we were at the start of last season? Still undefeated, it can only pick up from here, best defence in the league (obviously something to be proud of at the end of the season, not as much a few games in), 4 clean sheets in 4 games, our passing game will be better when the pitches are better in the summer.
As Sligo have shown them it's no good keeping clean sheets if you can't put them in down the other end which is why they have 3 times as many goals and twice as many points.

Man for man we have a better defence than them anyway.

Not entirely sure about that. Oman and McGuinness have six league winners medals between them plus a few FAI and Setanta Cups. There's no real arguing with that. Much of a muchness between the FBs for me, though happy with the two we have.

Oman is only there because of injuries and suspensions. hasn't got a look in with Foran the first choice. Oman has definitely been a top player in this league maybe its all catching up with him. Don't rate Foran

He looked better than Powell anyway. Bayly completelt nullified Finn which meant all the sidewards passing from Chambers meant nothing for Rovers. Ryan and Shortall excellent at the back for them. Wonder will Gartland and Flynn come back in for them?

Flynn was on the bench so I reckon he's 2nd choice until injury or loss of form to someone else. I reckon gartland will come back in

Yeah but Flynn was signed to start at centre half. He missed the first two games due a club applied suspension for the sending offs in pre-season. Be mad to break up a team that just won you your first point but it is Mathews...

Eh just saw dodge kind of covered my point. But its what happened after the red card that might explain his position on the bench

Yeah Mathews suspended him. 2 weeks and wouldn't even let him train with the squad.

Sligo are pretty class at staying away from the LOI merry-go-round to give credit where it's due. Is he the first ever in LOI history or just in Sligo's history to score in the first 4 league games? Hint... Dodge... Hint.

Most of the casinos there accept LOI bets. For the sake of it, you have to

Can't stand Damien Richardson "It's a great thing to have in the modern game and any time in the game". Talking about McMillan winning headers
