    Kavanagh

Rumour that Daryl has put in a transfer request and that Conor McCormack had to be talked out of handing one in.

He thought he was to big for this club, the club who rescued him from the scrapheap and stood by him, so if it's true I hope he rots over there for the rest of his contract.

You need to calm down with this shit. He went for more money. Simple as that. Its nothing to do with 'thinking he's too big' or any ego thing.

Not the first player to come here from ' The scrapheap ' have a great season and get a bigger money move to people who are willing to pay the extra cash
He was great for us while he was here - Got more money from rovers than we could offer so fair play to him
Danny North was without a team for a few months and was about 2 stone overweight with fuck all offers and he went to our biggest rival for the league this year and never got half the shit said about him

Well his ego and the ego of others nearly killed the club less then 12 months ago, so if doesn't constitute him thinking he's bigger then the club... That's where I see a difference with him and the rest of last years group.

I'd take him back non a heartbeat because he is quality and I'm sure he probably regrets leaving in the first place

He's still 2 stone overweight and took a fair bit of abuse in Sligo, when we played down there.

I'd take Kavanagh back, assuming the price is right. Wouldn't necessarily fit into our system as is, but could offer a Plan B or else play out wide.

By a lot of accounts he's been one of their better players this season but Kenny has subbed him off in a load of games. Loved him when he was here but really don't think he's needed now

First touch is nowhere near good enough for the way we play now but as GS pointed out may be an option off the bench

Was lucky enough to work with Daryl on the schools thing last year and you couldn't meet a nicer fella. No hint of an ego at all. pete was playing him all over the shop last season and he just got on with it imo. Lets be fair who wouldn't have gone to rovers in his position? Its not as if he was born in Bulfin and had a pats tattoo on
his arse. He gave 100% and thats always good enough for me.

Love to see him back and used correctly.
I used to know it all, Now I'm going to school.

In fairness, we had no manager and there was nobody to offer him (or Danny, Or Rogers) a contract at the time. He got offered a contract which (I'm assuming) was more then the one he was on last season. It's a no brainer. He always gave his all when he played for us. I'd take him back if it happened, and if his wages weren't too much obviously.

I'd have him in over Daly, Dean Kelly and O'Flynn anyway.

He was signed b Rovers a good while after Buckley was on board

Not that that matters, as I said earlier he left for a better deal. no issues at all with that

Yep, stood out as a bright spark in Mahon's team of workers. Started season well too in fairness to him but tailed off

    Hooply has the scoop.

Kavanagh put in a transfer request ages ago but its sorted now.

In other hoops news they've signed Pat Sullivan back.

Well that's very unusual, a footballer with an ego!!
