    Return of the Friday Quiz

Back by popular demand (well, Jimdagym asked for it). Might not be able to get back online to respond to all guesses.

    1) Who is the only non-British player to have scored for six different teams in the Premier League?

    2) Rwanda, Burundi and the Democratic Republic of Congo are all former colonies of which European country?

    3) Who is the only man to have completed 100 centuries (Test and One Day totals combined) in International cricket?

    4) At one time Dublin had 5 main terminal railway stations. 3 of these, Heuston, Connolly and Pearse, are still in use. Name the two that aren’t (both terminal buildings are still standing).

    5) Chicken George and Kunta Kinte were leading characters in which seminal TV miniseries?

    6) In 1991, Mike Powell broke which record that had stood for 23 years?

    7) Which city has the most (Dollar) Billionaire residents in the world?

Eight) Whose last on-screen acting role was playing the part of a retired NYPD Detective in an episode of Magnum PI?

    9) Only two albums in chart history have ever had 5 US Billboard Number One singles lifted from them. One is Michael Jackson’s ‘Bad’, name the other.

    10) What specifically connects the European Cup/Champions’ League finals of 1971, 1972, 1973, 1989, 1990, 1992 and 1995?

    Yorkie got 5 and 6.
    Rathfarnham got 1 and 3.
    9 isn't 'Ten'.
The rest are wrong or not specific enough.

No, neither were ever proper mainline terminals and neither are still standing. Both the ones I'm looking for are more or less in the city centre.

No. Broadstone is the one that's now part of Phibsborough Bus Garage. A lot of you on here probably drank in the other one several times.

That'd be the Odeon then. Good question.

Correct! Harcourt Street was until very recently The Odeon/Tripod/Crawdaddy.

Just to flesh out some of the other answers, Robbie Keane has scored for Coventry, Leeds, Spurs, Liverpool, West Ham and Villa in the Premier League (all of whom he'd wanted to play for since he was a kid of course).

Belgium's African colonies included the Belgian Congo (today's DRC) which is about 75 times the size of Belgium.

Powell still holds the Long Jump record. Beamon's had been set at altitude in the Mexico City Olympics of 1968.

I don't think I'd recognise one of those Katy Perry songs if I heard it.

I think the winning captains of all of those teams would have been Dutch except for Franco Baresi in 1989 and 1990. Some going for a country the size of Holland to have had the only goalscorers in 7 Finals.

    1) Dan Martin last year in the Vuelta. Not sure of the other one but Martin Earley won a Tour de France stage in the nineties....(leaving out the obvious big names). Also Shay Elliott in the Tour
