Device to improve mobile signal at home ?

Has anyone bought one of these ? I had a quick look on-line and it looks like you can buy something to improve the signal in your house. Basically the aul one moved house and is on a contract but can't get any signal in the new house and its actually cracking me up now because I can never hear her when she rings.

Just wondering if anyone has got anything for a similar scenario or has even seen anything in the shops ?

The in laws got one - essentially is uses a point in your house where the signal is good and recreates that around the house. You can get different ones with different rangers, some that work through concrete etc. Works really well

Vodafone advertised one a few months ago. It connects to your broadband and transmits a mobile signal to the house. I'm don't know the price, but obviously you need broadband to make it work.

Edit - have a look here, not cheap though. http://www.gsmboostersireland.com

2 options really, 1 is buy the booster off VF / or gsm boosters or the other is get your aul wan (plus neighbours) to complain to VF and threaten to leave them
they'll do anything to keep ppl with them at the moment so might even put an aeriel in the area (once the nimbys dont moan about cancer etc)
