    Inchicore History

    MAJOR HISTORIC EVENT

    Event : Unveiling of Plaques on House used as Union Office and home of 1913 strike leader and Irish Citizen Army officer Michael Mallin, who was executed for his role in the 1916 Rising.

    Date : Friday 4th Nov. 2011
    Time: 3.00 p.m.
    Venue: 122 Emmet Road Inchicore

    The Kilmainham and Inchicore Heritage Group will unveil two plaques on Emmet Hall,
    122 Emmet Road Inchicore on Friday 4th November at 3pm.

    Speakers will include ;

    Jack O'Connor President of SIPTU,
    Eamon O' Cuiv TD. Fianna Fail
    Aengus O' Snodaigh TD, Sinn Fein
    Michael Conaghan TD, Labour
    Catherine Byrne TD, Fine Gael
    Joan Collins TD, Left Alliance
    Padraigh Yeates, Author and Historian,
    Manus O' Riordan Historian,
    Francis Devine Historian,
    Members of the Mallin Family.

    This House was the family home of Michael Mallin who was executed in 1916.
