Lads I didn't see what was said, but what's with all the closing of threads and deleting posts? This has gone on before. It it seems when someone has a comment about the club that 'doesn't portray them in a good light' it's closed or deleted? Is this an official St Patrick's Athletic forum or one run by fans?
I know which one it seems like to me.

lads I've no idea what's going on or what was deleted but this thread doesn't belong in the General Pats Banter
I closed it down. You posted that yoiu didn't want any more discussion about your injuries, the other lad apoogised. End of story. The 2 pages before that were about you playing in a friendly FFS
Robbo's post was "I know something but I won't post it here". So he didn't actually say anything.
And at least 70% of threads here are people complaining about the club in one way or another, so there's no way you can say we're not allowing that kind of threads.
Well as I say, I don't know what was said. But speculating on what people would do if it happened to them and speaking hypathetically (I've no probs with that, freedom of speech and all that) is completely different to them speculating on something they know nothing about. That was my only point. Everything else I will be keeping to myself.
Yeah going off about me playing a game for Pats is ridiculous, I agree. But it just seems a discussion is not allowed go in certain circumstances. The reason I said it seems like they are always closed down is that one mod said he closed a thread down because 'it made the club look bad'. So is it an official St Pats site or not?

Can't speak for anyone but myself, but I've only closed about 6 threads here. mostly because they were shite.
The problem with most threads is that once the decent info is there, it kinda gets lsot in the conjecture and speculation.
In this case I thought you setting things straight and your man apologising, was a good place for the discussion to end. I didn't think another 2 pages on whether a bloke could die getting hit by a bus or break his leg playing a friendly was going to help anyone. its too serious a topic for that type of shit
Yep that's fair enough. It was the only thing bugging me and I had to kinda set the story straight as you say, and yeah some of it got ridiculous. I just thought it was closed because of someone's comment that's all.
Fair enough.

Just because some fucking idiots did it in Israel doesn't mean some bloke is going to do it in Estonia, Sure do you remember there was a photo put of here of the camac and in the background you could see someone waving across at someone else but it looked like he was doing a Nazi salute and we had a good laugh about it, Same thing happened here
And Brian Kerr is in tears.
Yep and there is guys standing around him all looking in the same direction waving as well, Most likely it was full time and they were waving to the team much like alot of people were doing in Richmond the other night
And Brian Kerr is in tears.
