Loads to see and do around Killarney. If you have a full day drive the Ring of Kerry. Loads of great stop offs. If you've a couple of hours to spare in Killarney hire bikes and cycle around the National Park - you can walk it aswell. Torc Waterfall a nice little walk. Loads of good going out spots - McSorleys, Scott's, Laurels, The Grand, etc. It's a small town so everything's fairly close.

Bobby the steward is a coach driver and is very often down that way. He'd be a good person to talk to about it as well.

Saw this on Balls and couldn't stop laughing for about 10 minutes. Roy Keane wanted to sign Robbie Savage for Sunderland and didn't because...

I rang Mark Hughes. Robbie [Savage] wasn’t in the Blackburn team and I asked Mark if we could try to arrange a deal. Sparky said: ‘Yeah, yeah, he’s lost his way here but he could still do a job for you.’

Robbie’s legs were going a bit but I thought he might come up to us [at Sunderland], with his long hair, and give us a lift – the way Yorkie [Dwight Yorke] had, a big personality in the dressing room.

Sparky gave me permission to give him a call. So I got Robbie’s mobile number and rang him. It went to his voicemail: ‘Hi, it’s Robbie – whazzup!’ like the Budweiser ad. I never called him back. I thought: ‘I can’t be fucking signing that.’

Fuertaventura is fine there are good bars and music if you want. Its not like say Puerto Rico, not as lively but there is plenty of entertainment. Lanzarote is a little livelier but you will be fine staying in Fuertaventura if you want good night life.

Playa De Muro is lovely and the Ivory Playa Hotel there is excellent, right beside beach and one of the nicest beaches around.
Alcudia is also quieter than Magaluf/Santa Ponsa but a little more lively than Playa De Muro.

Does anyone remember the goalie who played for IBV when we played them in 2011 and 2012, Abel Dhaira? Well sadly he died from cancer in the last few weeks.

He was the type of absolute character on the pitch that you need in the sport for sheer entertainment. RIP Abel Dhaira

Richie Towell made his debut for Brighton tonight in the first leg play-off for promotion to the top tier, coming on a sub. No pressure there then.
