It's Quigley, there was a rumour that they had a fight in a training session and Quigley wants out. Doubt there is any truth to it.
And Brian Kerr is in tears.

For me the worse thing about it is the detrimental effect it has on the ending to Dodgeball.

You think they shouldn't? Tragic people are losing there jobs, but some people spent a lot of money on vouchers, you think they should just forget about that money now due to bad management at HMV?

Simply put, yeah. It happens. Pissing and moaning at frontline staff will do you no good.

GTF! It was a present someone received. They're not throwing away money. We've all got useless presents in the past.

Well in Ireland, it was a mistake (until today).

In Britain (and now Ireland), voucher holders are treated as creditors (the vouchers being credit notes...). So they're technically owed the money, but they're miles down the list of creditors.

HMV Ireland are in receivership, which means they do what the receiver tells them (yesterday was different). If he says don't accept vouchers, then thats it

All immaterial at the moment as all irish stores are closed until further notice

Interesting piece here on how Irish newspapers have formed a lobby group to demand payment from any site (including the likes of this one) that links to their online publications. Shower of conceited pricks, hope it sends the fucking lot of them out of business.
