david bechkam said he thinks Balotelli tought he was offside an i seen it a few times kinda soes look like he was just doin it thinking it was of side, he was pointing towards the linesman given out to the gaffer and to who ever was upfront with him, either way its a freindly there for trying new things , its like when david bechkam shot from half way line and scored. if he missed it would be like, he wasnt making an effort just wanted to get rid of the ball but he didnt and it was a great goal in ths case he missed what would have been as soccer am say unbeleliavble tecekrs but now it will be on taxi

Yiu hate him cos hes good and scores against us. You've no reason to hate Balotelli only because of his attitude. So he has succeeded in winding you up IMO.

I'd doubt it... We know what the FAI is like

What Balotelli did is no different to this, Both friendlies and both will live long in the memory, I say he's great
And Brian Kerr is in tears.

If a kid on your schoolboy team did that during a meaningless friendly game you would be furious ? Id applaud him for having the imagination to try it.

Balotelli is mental no doubt about it but id take him over most of the boring cnuts in the premier league anyday. Football is meant to be entertaining.

The hypoctisy of Nigel De Jong telling Balotelli he needs to behave correctly on the pitch , from a guy who almost kick Alonso's head off in a World Cup Final........

Airtricity XI set for showdown talks with FAI
According to several major news outlets the Airtricity XI are set for showdown talks with the FAI this morning. This story ran in some major newspapers this morning and was also featured on TV3's 9 o'clock sports news.

It is reported that the Airtricity players were last night informed that they will be paid €650 before tax for playing in the Dublin Super Cup this weekend. Players see this as an outrage. In their view they are playing in the Aviva Stadium infront of a full stadium and will be facing some of the best footballers in the world. They see less than €650 as an outrage.

Also the team was last night informed that straight after their game v Manchester City on Saturday afternoon that they will have to vacate the dressing room for the next team in. The players claim that they have been refused permission to shower and that they will have to leave the dressing room straight away.

In return TV3 this morning said that Damien Richardson has said that playing in the Aviva stadium is a once in a life time chance and that money should not be an issue.

The players hope to sort out both of the issues raised with the FAI when they meet today.

We will as always keep you informed as to how this situation plays out.
    Thanks for reading.

The fucking cup final is there. How is it s once in a lifetime chance to play there???

Sad thing is, the LOI team could pull out without any major impact on the tourney.

It's more a once in a life time to play against top opposition like Inter & City is what he meant I think.

They're not playing Inter. They're playing Celtic instead.

And regardless, its supposed to be an annual thing, so there'll be more opportunities for them

I wonder is Rico doing it for free if money means nothimg...

Article in the Mirror today confirming the shower issue , 4 dressing rooms in a supposed state of the art stadium and only 2 where fitted with showers ? The dressing room being used by Celtic is rumoured to be getting fitted out with showers at a cost of €50,00.

As ever the FAI and Irish football look after others before looking after their own.

jesus the more i think about the pay and showers situation. What a fucking disgrace. The players should walk away. The FAI probably wont care too much, but at least the players wont be treated with such a lack of respect. The FAI are scum
