    Epsom Derby

Doesn't look as good a races this year as it usually is could do with Frankel in it . Big news is that due to a court ruling that Fallon cannot ride Recital. This is because of a contract with the owners of Native Khan that he couldn't ride any other horse in the race.

Anyway Im Gonna go with Native Khan won the Craven well and finished third in the guineas a bit behind Frankel but there is nothing of his class in this race. Should stay and at 10/1 is a decent price.

Native Khan finished fifth didn't quiet get home. It was an interesting race the winner looks a smart horse although he got a low enough rating.

On a side note the BBC coverage was awful stuff. Only the queen's horse was focused on before, during and after the race. The presenter was nearly crying after the races because it only finished third. Also they started looking for excuses the moment the race was over first that the horse had to go too wide at the last bend ignoring the fact that the winner followed the same path and came from further back. Then that one of the horse's shoes came off at some point during the race, this might have had some impact but the fact the winner was flying at the end and that Carlton house only finished third and didn't overtake the pacemaker who finished second probably shows that it would not have won.

Also the winning jockey has some nerves and looks a good prospect for the future.

Was it balls of steel by the barzalona or a fuck up that he got away with. Unreal if he stood up off the derby winner a few strides out whilst 2nd.

Pretty sure he was ahead when he stood up. Still a fairly dangerous thing to do pulling back on the reins when only a neck in front
