anyone know where id pick one of these up , i have a packard bell laptop but wont charge up , i can get a universal one in pc world but its 80quid sounds a bit steep ???

had to get one last year for an Asus laptop,was emergency so had to get it in town,what ever ya do dont get this POS in the link bellow cost 99€in Petes parnell street has changeable heads for differnt laptops which melts and bends,stops charging the laptop ,Petes dont carry spares:-( pain un the arse

Dont buy any of the ebay or amazon ones that are not the exact one for you laptop, should be a code on your charger in the form of 00000-01 search ebay for that number, usually around 30 40 quid but its the exact one for your laptop.

My charger went there about 3 months ago. If you go to the square theres a small shop on the 3rd floor selling all sorts of things but specialise in chargers for €40-€45. All you need is the wattage and type of laptop you have. It's not a legit Sony or Packard charger but works just the same. Ive had mine in constant use and is perfect.

I'd highly recommend one from them.
