First time porto had lost to someone other than Benfica or Sporting Lisbon?
Last home defeat for jose
Its honestly one of the most amazing stats in the would of sport and I mean that. To be coming up on 9 years of never losing effectively a two horse race is unbelievable
The 60-odd games with Chelsea is the most impressive bit. When he arrived there, Arsenal were Champions and had just become the first team in over a century to go unbeaten all season - Chelsea couldn't beat them for love nor money either. Liverpool made 2 Champions League finals in his time there - they weren't consistent but could get themselves up for the one off game. United had Rooney and Ronaldo and had a brilliant record at Stamford Bridge pre-Jose. So it's not like there weren't proper challengers - he totally transformed the mindset of that Chelsea team into winners.
Thats incredible. I'm off to look for champions league results now. has to have lost one of them some time
Not too many it seems. barclona won 2-1 at Stamford bridge in 2006
Charlton beat them in the league cup but i think it was penos so Jose said it didnt count
And Brian Kerr is in tears.
Can you name the 5 current premier league players to have scored a goal against Manchester united in both the champions league and premier league ?
Did someone like Yakubu get a hat trick against United at one stage? I tink that was maccabi hafa
Oh and might as well throw a few other guesses in there;
Pavlychenko (spelling?) - Kiev/Spurs?
Benni McCarthy - Porto/Blackburn?
Rio Ferdinand?
No idea just changing the angle here.
Diego Tristan - Deportivo La Coruna/West ham
Thomas Radzinski??? - Anderlecht and Everton I think.
Balls, didn't see the 'current' in the question. Was about to say Ballack.
Is Anelka one??
And Brian Kerr is in tears.
Van Persie
Yakubu
Lampard all correct
The others are incorrect. Ballack would have been correct but of course he is back in ze motherland now
3 down , 2 to go.
Robben Bayern Munchen/Chelsea???
Edit: Didn't see current

Name the 9 players have won one cap for England under Capello (hint; some of them have won more caps under other managers - all still playing)
