    Gaa 2011

Not sure if there's a thread on this but congratulations to the Dublin hurling team who have just won the National League.

They beat Kilkenny with a scoreline of 0-22 to 1-7.

For me, this shows just how much the Dubs have improved at hurling in recent year, unlike the Gaelic football side.

cracking performance by the hurlers. The tempo and skills they played with totally blew Kilkenny away.

That was one of the worst and most negative Kilkenny performances Ive seen. Only scored 1-2 in the 1st half. Too many wides and didnt look fit at all.

Idiotic sending off and the guy(John Dalton) at the end of the 1st half should have been off as well. Kicking the guy when he is on the ground is a disgrace.

Fair play to Dublin. Well deserved victory.

If you had said a few years ago that the hurlers will win the All Ireland before the footballers every one would laughed, how things can change.

Cracking result and performance, most notabley keeping any KK team to 8 scores in a game is amazing. 5 unanswered points at the end make it look a bit easier then it was it was a tough game and interesting also that KK who always played of on the knife edge of hard/dirty are now clearly on one side of it.

    Well done Dubin.

Interesting article in the mail by Joe Brolly (spit god I had the C*nt) The footballers need to pace themselves and a couple of examples of Paul Brogan going on 3 lunatic runs the lenght of the field getting nothing and being knackered by the 50min same for MD McCauley when we were leading instead of playing with his head going on mad runs and then totally out of the game for the last 20 minutes.

Anyone doing any bets for the championship? Meself and morrow snr have our now usual 20 quid on who'll go further. After I foolishly allowed him in the back door with tipp last year I'm out for revenge. We are going football this year, I'm on Dublin he's on kildare. (Teams were picked before national league started).

If anyone is interested in doing a similar bet stick up your name here and i'll pair people off. You can bet for a pint or money whatever. Usually makes even the shittist games interesting.

Dubs won 1-16 to 0-11 and will now play Kildare in the semi's.

was in the Hill for the game. Fucking awful game to watch. We barely got out of second gear. Would have been nice to see a rutless streak in this team though. Laois are muck and we could have destroyed them

Yesterday they barely tried, I think this Dublin team is quality and is our best chance of getting Sam back.
Brogans are a master class up front and the likes of Conolly and Cullen will always pick up some points aswell. Midfield hasn't looked so good in years with Mcauly and Cahill. Cahill could be replaced with McConnell but still pretty decent. And the defence is young and hungry and will only improve.

Best Dublin team I have seen in a long time.

Be strong hoppo. There's nothing wrong with hating GAA for hate's sake.
