In fairness he's miles off being good enough to play for a Premiership winning team, miles off.

He's shown great patience with him but I'd be surprised if he's given another contract there. As it is I'm sure he'd have been gone long ago if Ferguson had the money to spend that he did 10 years back. Will be put in the same bracket as Klebersen and Djemba Djemba in most United fans' memories.

That's it. Can't understand how anyone could be so angry over a player not being good enough. Not his fault he plays 20-30 games a season for United

Lashing him out of it with abuse, lot of personal, is just a shitty thing to do

They have Camac types everywhere. Worst we have is that geebag who sits in the stand. From Russell to Bird to whoever is next, disgraceful stuff

I'll never understand how people think that sort of stuff helps

Oh agreed. But players that are playing way above the level their talent merits will always get loads of stick, this is only an electronic version of what the likes of Glen Fitz and David Bell used to get every home game.

dunphy lashed him out of it on a saturday night prior to an ireland game and had to apologise on the wednesday, it was way ott "said he was rubbish and a brain dead idiot " imo he,s an average player that got lucky with the breaks that fell his way .

Utd only keep him to adhere to Uefa's homegrown rules (knowing Scholes & Giggs will be gone soon)

terrible player and nowhere near premier league standard- I've never seen him have an above average game.

I wouldnt bother following most footballers on twitter , Michael Owens last two tweets where in yesterdays newspaper. The most bland stuff you could ever read.

Thats the problem nowadays with the media , players are scared to speak their mind

A lot of them are thick too.

Don't follow any of the foreign ballers. Or any real celebs (bar the odd comedian if they're celebs now...)

yeah savage is good but he posts a lot of shite too, like most i suppose.

I finf the journos are good, oliver holt, guillem balague, henry winter, sid lowe. Although they all take huge offence at everything people tweet back at them. Sid lowe is a moany oul ballix.

guillem balague and olliver holt had a nice little disagreement on twitter last night about the respective journalism in both countires..twas interesting
