Depends on what you want out of it I suppose. If it was just for a learning experience keep in mind it will probably cost as much as youth cert. If you're going for a piss up......................................

    Can I go?

I've found portable lighting is not the issue with us. (building site floodlights are cheap and powerful). It's powering them thats the issue. anywhere near houses is not an option with noisy gennies and plugging them in is equally as awkward.

This thing is battery operated though. You charge it up after use and its ready to go for the next time. All fits into a little bag when deflated. They have a website where it shows you in detail

I think the lights are 499 per light. Don't know about the goals. Think the goals are the business myself.

A team could have a fundraising night and be sorted for winter training.... Really good ideas

How on earth are the goals sturdy? (I watched him boot the ball at it in the video)

One thing ive noticed when it comes to coaching is its always better to make up your own drills , often the drills etc you get from the FAI and these rip-off coaching courses (Barca ? to get handed drills !) are no better than what a good coach can think up.

In fact id say its a sign of a good coach if he can make up a drill to suit his team

Yeah agree hoppo. Or even use the drills they give you and tweak them a little bit. if I notice an issue in a match that needs working on I'll always come up with something myself to try and work on it. Although there's no harm in having a standard manual drill as backup for when it goes tits up lol.

Coerver doing a coaching course in dublin shortly. Not often they put these on as they are strict on who gets the franchise so id say it would be worth going to. Will post up dates when I get them

Big fan of the coerver stuff. Very good for letting them express themselves. Just a word of caution tho, if anyone is going to these yokes don't just go to get a few drills and funtions, make sure you understand WHY they are doing them and the techinque involved. Too many people go to these yokes and scribble down the notes on the function and never ask what the key coaching points are. As hoppo and the lads said earlier if you understand the key factors it's more fun to make up your own stuff.

Yeah we were only discussing Max Planck's 1906 theory with our wingers the other night.

Centre halfs are dumb fucks, some of ours are still stuck on Einstein.

    Bosco won the semi 5-1.
Only posted it up to thank jerry from pats. Made us feel very welcome and played the game in a great spirit. He was very gracious at the end and is a credit to the schoolboy section. Top man.
