Maybe this is why they can let those players go without paying them, declare themselves bankrupt? They would, or should be relegated. Won't get any sympathy from me, smug Gypos looking down there noses at us the last few years!!

Could be a prouder boast in a month or two.
And yes, we would be the only team in the League to have NEVER played in the 1st Division, a VERY proud boast. More flags here I feel. Bring it on!!!! (Looks like we were right about 'The Next Shels' shout!!!!

Would they still be Bohemian F.C?

    Thar she blows!!

No, i meant I didnt understand your restructure plan and your objection to the 4 rounds of matches. I thought you might have wanted to merge prem and first division or something.

I object to playing 4 times a season , leads to apathy and less interest. Just my opinion though

Nah, 10 team or 12 team League so you're playing better teams, anymore than that and it dilutes the League with small, insignificant, crappy 1st Divison teams with no fans.....like Shels.

Can't help but think if we replaced Fungus Bray and Ucd with Shels Cork and Derry we'd make more turnstile money. Not saying they don't deserve what they got but still........................

No one should shed a single tear for the immanent demise of Bohs ,the league will survive and go on just like it did after the deaths of Shels ,Derry, Cork .They've been rubbing recent glory in every other teams face all the while flaunting league rules and using money they were advanced in dubious stadium sale deals to buy and gamble they're way to recent glory.
All the while being chased by the bankers and courts ,they stayed full time ,kept Nutsy, bought player after player on big wages ,praying for European paydays that never came ,but now the parties over .It will be a silent scream as they fall from grace as they've failed to develop the club or increase the fanbase ,even with all the recent bought success .They gambled they lost fuck em.

We were inches from the abyss a few times too SVM in fairness. as usual in these situations the fans suffer while the people who cause the problems melt away.

    100% agree mate.

AlanMc, you're dead right too, it is the fans that suffer. But their fans are all pr*cks and were laughing at us last year calling us minnows. Well my friend thats called bad Karma. And I for one will be laughing at them this year, I've a long memory!!

Football would be a shite game if fans didn't abuse each other. It's kinda like what a parent teacher night would be if you went sober!

The past is the past but recently their fans wernt suffering while they collected cups and leagues and developing $hels like inflated egos at our expence .Im not saying weve always been angels but in recent years since the FAI took over it would seem were one of the only honest clubs around, trying to balance the books and play by the new rules.
Bohs wernt and the Grim reaper has come to collect .
Its our duty as rivals that had to listen to their boasts of grandeur, to revel in their end. I also think we should kill Johnny logan like they killed Mel Gibson in Braveheart ,fairs fair :-) .

Well said, and this is my time to abuse them!!!!

And talk about clutching at straws, over on Gypoweb they have a thread on banned fans from their club bar, and the thread is trying to get them back in, to unbar them to try and boost their coffers.

    Hilarious stuff.

I reckon in 2 years the league will expand to 14 or 16 teams so Bohs will probably be one of the teams to come up if they do go down, A spell in the first division wouldnt do any harm tho, their fans are cunts and when they do fuck off donw there it will then show who the true Dublin club is when we are the only ones not to go down to the graveyard

And i quite like Johnny Logan can we try get him to become a Pats fan?

He was released before the window closed, so he was free to join the Pigs after the window closed.

Poor bohs my bollix, we finished 2nd to a team who cheated (overspending money and not paying up) in drogs, same with Shels in the past and very much with bohs in the present.

Not to mention cork and Derry.

Bohs have made their bed a d whilst they were enjoying it the world moved on.

Now they will have an overdraft which interest payments will equal over 50% of their organic income, but they still went out last summer and bought a load of players while refusing 300k for pat fenlon.

The club has been run shambolically!

In general I'd agree. However remember every critical decision taken by Bohs in recent years that's led them to this situation was OVERWHELMINGLY supported by their members, too dazzled as they were by € signs to read the small print. When you have the rare privilege of being a member of a democratic club with a genuine say in the running of your club and continually vote in the village idiot, you really don't deserve sympathy.

Don't think it sounds half as bad as some people had made it out to be... They'll have to go part time and let players go... Big woop.... They're not going to be relegated or anything like that... Hell they could still win the league this season...

Thats achievable no? Couple of friendlies or something might get them there. Depends on their outgoings too though I suppose.
